Hi all!!

These are my rules you must follow if u are gonna use my stock.
Read them before using this stock. By downloading and/or using this stock, you agree to comply with my rules. If you fail to comply with my rules, I reserve the right to have you remove your work.
Following Stock Rules Isn't A 'Maybe'...It's a MUST! You must follow the rules that a stock artist has. :faq217: I am a little bit frustrated and angry at the sheer amount of people I have had breaking or disregarding my stock rules all together recently. My Stock rules are in this journal - and on my front page. Clear to see and easy to find as they are linked in my artists descriptions. Read them before using my stock. By downloading and/or using my stock, you agree to comply with my rules.
The rules are there for a reason. The crux of the matter is that I spend a lot of time, energy, money and all round hard work to create the stock for you all to use, free of charge in my gallery. I spend hours coming up with concepts and themes, sewing and constructing outfits, accessories and props, doing creative makeup and hair, setting up an area to shoot or scouting for suitable locations, actually shooting the stock, sorting through all the images and uploading them here as stock for you to use.
In most cas
Why my stock is PremiumHi everyone,
I've been receiving lots of notes and comments questioning why my stock is now premium aka requiring points to be used. To quickly condense this:
:bulletgreen:Why isn't my stock free anymore?
:bulletblue:Short answer: The Rule Breakers are doing my head in.
:bulletred:Long answer: I've had my stock in storage for about 5-6 months because of thieves and people completely ignoring my rules. From the artists I've spoken to, real artists won't mind paying a few points for my resources, and then I can appreciate the amazing artwork instead of stressing about someone misusing or stealing my stock.  As Tasastock puts it: The Premium route means I can still keep all my stock out there for artists to use, and gives me some protection against the knobheads out there.
The Reasoning - In Depth
I'm sure a number of you are aware that I put all my stock into storag

FAQ #217: What are "Stock and Resources" and can I use them in my submissions?

STOCK CREDIT
:police: Always credit me if you have used any of my stock (including WIP's and close-ups) with a DIRECT link. You MUST include a link to either my profile OR the artwork used in the artist description where you have used my stock::police:
Preferably using : devcharligal-stock : without the spaces for charligal-stock or : iconcharligal-stock : for :iconcharligal-stock: without the spaces.
You may also use the thumb or link to the stock piece you used, or a direct link to my page (although this is not preferable).
If you are unsure of how to provide a credit with a link to my page, please refer to this faq
FAQ #81: How can I create links to other deviants, deviations, or websites?

NOTIFICATION
:bulletgreen: You MUST notify me when you have used my stock (either by note or comment) providing me with a link to the artwork.

COMMERCIAL USE
All the info you need about commercial use can be found in my FAQ: FAQ and *updates on commercial and web design useThis is a FAQ that I have been compiling for a little while. I get asked the majority of these questions quite regularly. If you see something missing that you would like to know just ask and I'll try and add it in.

Best way to contact me is with a clearly titled DA note. An untitled one won't be looked at as quickly and I only check emails once a week

A word about using my stock for your website:
If you want to use my stock for website banners, posters, backgrounds etc then you MUST still follow my rules and credit me as stock provider. You must link me to the image as it will appear on the website and the stock credit must be visibly placed near the artwork. There is a fee for these sorts of uses, see my FAQ for the pricing structure.

POSTING ON OTHER SITES
:bulletpurple:You may post artworks containing my stock on other websites on two conditions.
condition 1. A Stock credit is always displayed clearly near the image, include a link to my DeviantArt profile or to the image you used.
condition 2. I am to be shown all pages where my stocks have been used in any capacity.
If the website is not a predominantly English one please direct me towards the credit on the page. this saves me the time of using an online translator.

NO RETOUCHES/INSUFFICIENTLY EDITED WORK
You can use my stock for any form of art you can think of, traditional and digital painting, drawing, sculpture, photomanipulation/photomontage. You do not need my permission to use my stock within the bounds of DeviantArt. What you cannot use my stock for however, is for retouches (see retouches definitions) resubmitting as stock or a raw stock image, and nothing where the subject is racist, pornographic, sexist, or hateful in any way. (Gore, macabre and horror I am fine with. Bring on the gore!)
It is important to note that your art must be that. Art. It must be sufficiently edited otherwise I will get you to remove the image as a breach of my rules. Example: Just adding a filter/colour/blur/high contrast/lensflare effect/black+white, just cropping the image, texture overlay or texture backgrounds, adding text just changing the hair/eye/skin colour, just editing out flaws (retouching) or adding pointy ears/teeth/a tail. Make it your own, otherwise it is still mine. Do not just change a couple of little things and leave my image pretty much intact - leaving the original sheeted background  or wall etc. Unless it's a painting, there should be none of the original sheets or plain walls after you've editted my stock. There must be more than one stock image used (apart from mine) if you are using my stock in your photomanipulation.

:bulletred:Retouches of my stock are NOT allowed.
What I mean by a retouch is when you are practising airbrushing/digital makeup/photoshop imaging effects, anything where you are just taking the image to practice making it better, but not doing anything else do it other than editing out any "flaws". Eg. In a portrait image, a retouch would be, doing nothing to the background, removing any imperfections on my skin, lightening the image, editing out stray hairs, changing the eye colour. Basically, airbrushing. I understand its value for magazines, but you can't use my stock for it.  If you airbrush me as part of a photomanipulation piece (aka, a collection of stock images collaged together to make one whole image) I'm not going to say I will like the fact that you've done it, but you are allowed. Where an edit is determined to be too minor or simple a change from my original stock it will be removed. Do not just crop, add borders and filters, texture overlays or colour/saturation changes to my images.

MEDIUMS YOU CAN USE MY STOCK IN
:bulletpink:Feel free to use my images to use as drawing/painting/sculpture reference, photomanipulate, collage or create art. This includes drawings and paintings (both digital and traditional and 3d or sculpture too.)
I want to see my images being used creatively and not just being retouched, its not enough of a change to the original photograph when only a filter, border or crop is made or added and it undermines the photographers work. I hope u understand.

PRINTS
:bulletblue:I allow prints through deviantart. You don't have to ask for my permission first. Please let me know when you have made a print so I can add it to my wishlist.
If you wish to provide prints/merchandise outside of DeviantArt, please contact me first.

CATEGORISING
:bulletred:Do NOT post your photo-manipulations in the Photography gallery. Do not claim artworks featuring/using my stocks as photographs anywhere

UNACCEPTABLE USES
:bulletgreen: Do NOT use my stock in hate art, fetish and pornographic works. No feet fetish or vore will be tolerated and I reserve the right to have you remove your work if my stock is used in such a way.

REDISTRIBUTION
:bulletyellow:Absolutely no redistribution of my stock in any form is allowed. The only place where my stock is provided is in this account :iconcharligal-stock: and my other art account :iconcharligal:

EXCLUSIVE STOCK
:bulletpurple:If you have received any exclusive stock from me, you may NOT redistribute it in any form.

First off, I want to tell you how beautiful your stock gallery is. May I use your stocks as a reference for when I paint on SDK Paint and Art Academy on the Wii U and post them on the Miiverse? I will credit you appropriately, I just wanted to make sure it is okay for miiverse postings.
